AI Features Consent

Version 2 — see the end of this document for what changed since Version 1.

This document covers the Platform's optional AI-assisted features. You only see this because you're about to use one of them — using the rest of the Platform never requires accepting this.

1. What these features are

• Concierge "Ask me anything": a conversational assistant that answers wedding-planning questions using your own budget, guest, checklist, and vendor data, powered by a third-party large language model (Anthropic's Claude).
• AI Venue Reimagination: generates new images of your venue restyled in a look you choose, powered by a third-party image-generation model (Leonardo AI), from a photo of your real venue and a photo of the style you want.

2. What data leaves the Platform when you use them

Concierge: the question you type, plus only the specific sections of your wedding data (budget, guest counts, checklist, vendor status) that the feature needs to answer it — never your full account or guest database, and never anything from a section you don't have access to.

Venue Reimagination: the two photos you upload (your venue, and your style inspiration). These are sent to Leonardo AI to generate new images, which are then stored back in your account.

Neither provider is permitted, under our current agreements with them, to use this data to train their general-purpose models.

3. These outputs are AI-generated — verify before you rely on them

Concierge answers are generated by a language model and may be incomplete, out of date the moment your data changes, or simply wrong — they are not professional advice. Every concierge answer that was actually generated by AI (as opposed to Vows & Volts's own rule-based fallback, used when the AI provider isn't reachable) is labeled as AI-generated wherever it's shown.

Every image produced by Venue Reimagination is a synthetic image — a restyled reinterpretation, not a real photograph of how your venue will actually look on your wedding day. Every generated image is: (a) visibly watermarked directly in the image file itself, so the disclosure travels with the image if you download or share it; and (b) tagged with embedded metadata identifying it as AI-generated, readable by standard photo-metadata tools.

4. This usage is logged

Every time you use an AI feature, we record: your account, which feature you used, which underlying model handled it, the input you provided (your question, or a reference to the images you submitted), and when. This log exists for abuse prevention, quality/cost monitoring, and accountability, and is visible to Vows & Volts administrators — never to other Couples, Vendors, or Planners.

5. Your consent, and how to withdraw it

By checking the box and continuing, you consent to your input for the specific feature you're using being sent to that feature's third-party AI provider as described above, and to the logging described in Section 4. This consent covers both current AI features; a future new AI feature category may ask you to consent again if its data handling differs materially.

You can decline right now and simply not use these features — nothing else on the Platform requires this consent. If you've already consented and change your mind, contact support to have your consent withdrawn, which disables both features on your account going forward.
